Men of the CSRA: Please come and join me as a participant in the Beulah Grove Community Resource Center and First Providence Baptist Church First Annual CSRA Great Outdoor Men’s Cook-Off on June 14, 2007 at Diamond Lake. Every man has a certain place in his heart for cooking outdoors. This is your chance to share your culinary skills with the people of the CSRA. It is our goal to have 100 men cooking for a very worthwhile purpose. The Beulah Grove Community Resource Center is a non-profit organization who’s sole purpose is to Meet the needs of all those who we serve while training and teaching how to become self-sufficient. I need your help by being one of the “Cooks.” You will need to provide your own grill or cooker, charcoal, gas, etc. and provide enough food to feed 50 people a small sample of your selected dish. We will provide plates, napkins, utensils, cups, tea, lemonade and enough cole slaw and vegetables to handle the expected crowd of at least 500 people. You may also choose to enter the contest for the best Beef, Pork, Stews, Bar B Q Ribs, Fried Turkey/Poultry, Fried Fish/Seafood or Wild Game. There will be trophies in all categories for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. The purpose of the “CSRA Great Outdoor Men’s Cook-Off” is to raise money for the efforts of the Beulah Grove Community Resource Center. Your contribution is fully tax deductible due to our 501©3 status. Our slogan is “Who’s Cooking?” Well, I’m cooking and I need for you to join me! Secure your spot now by completing the attached form and returning to the Beulah Grove Community Resource Center Inc. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Jean Callaway, Executive Director, at 706-722-4999. Sincerely, Marc Coy Application Packet
