Noonday Bible Study

Hello Believers,

We are at the beginning of a new year and great things are about to happen!  If you want to develop your relationship with God and receive the blessings of being a member of the body of Christ…join us on Wednesdays at 12 noon in the choir loft.

This quarter we are focusing on developing your relationship with God through membership assessment lead by the Holy Spirit teaching you how to fulfill God’s will and your purpose in life:

   * Corinthians 12:12--The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body

* As we search the Scriptures for answers and as we assess who we are in Christ…ask yourself the question… Am I a member of the local church or a member of the body of Christ?  In light of the fact that we feel and do what we do because we believe what we believe…many times what we believe is influenced with half truths from the enemy…these half truths leave us weaved, webbed and tied up in pain that is displayed in self-destructive patterns.

   * The truth is, God wants you to prosper:  3 John 1:2-Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. (NKJV)

God established His church to spiritually transform lives and that is our number one mission.  However, we cannot get through “through” without developing the WHOLE person (spiritual, mental, physical, and the social).  Out of this whole notion of “wholism,” birth to another mission is given… “Community Empowerment Through:  Education, Economics, and Entrepreneurship.”  This mission is undergirded by biblical principles and presented through the Holy Spirit.  2 Timothy 3:16 states, All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
