Organization Description
Joyful Sound Ministry, Inc. is an organization that seeks to empower persons to develop healthy lives and implement healthy ministries. Empowered persons lead to healthy families, healthy church and ultimately, healthy communities.
There is a great need among individuals and leaders in churches and other faith-based organizations to better service the needs of their constituents. In order to accomplish this task, needs for churches and faith-based organizations themselves can range anywhere from establishing sound administrative functions to having ministries that address business and economic development. Joyful Sound Ministry, Inc. will accomplish its mission by conducting workshops, producing literature and other various multimedia material, establishing training centers and developing projects that will aid churches, faith-based organizations and individuals in their quest for personal development, better services and ministry.
Background
Given the number of changes and issues that our society is facing today, what we do, the way we do and function in ministry have transformed dramatically. The people we serve in our churches, faith-based institutions, and religious organizations have different needs, with diverse backgrounds. The paradigm has shifted. Many have recognized this shift (including the President of the United States) and are seeking avenues to be more proactive instead of reactive. Consequently, pastors, laity, and not-for-profit organizations are redefining how they service the needs of individuals.
Joyful Sound Ministry not only assists individuals in personal growth and development, but it is also a training agent that assists organizations in creating, developing and implementing their services, ministries and programs. Consequently, these organizations will be in a much better position to serve the needs of their constituents and respective communities. Joyful Sound Ministry’s target population for services are leaders of the organizations including pastors, other clergy, church laity, plus management and staff of faith-based initiatives and individuals (i.e., general public) interested in personal development.
