Pastor's Biography
Dr. Sam Davis is a
native of Barnwell, South Carolina and is married to the lovely Beverly M.
Davis. He matriculated at Voorhees College in Denmark, South Carolina where
he obtained his undergraduate training. He also attended Morehouse School of
Religion, Atlanta, Georgia where he was awarded a Masters Degree in Clinical Education and Pastoral Counseling and the Columbia
Theological Seminary, Georgia where a Doctorate of Ministry was conferred upon him. He later secured basic advanced units in Clinical
Pastoral
Education from Fort Gordon and Georgia Regional Hospital, and the University Hospital, Augusta, Georgia..

Dr. Davis has also received numerous military and academic honors and awards and various appointments including the opportunity to serve as Regional Vice Chair for 1999 Black Church Economic Summit Advisory Council, Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and as a faculty-staff member, for the Congress of Christian Education, National Baptist Convention, USA .
Of all the characteristic-traits demonstrated by Dr. Davis, none is more outstanding than his ability to explain the truths in Scripture and bring forth the reality of God’s Word and how it should be applied to one’s daily life.
