Large Text (The Book of John)
This Word falls off the pen of John, the son of Zebedee, the brother of James and nicknamed, “The Son of Thunder.” The purpose was conclusively that Jesus is the son of God and that all who believe in Him will have eternal live.
Short Text
The text that grips our attention is designed to show or to demonstrate how God uses what believers go through . to demonstrate how his power can be seen through our conditions. How God uses our conditions for advertisement for His Kingdom and His glory.
Text: John 9:24-25 (NIV)
24 A second time they summoned the man who had been blind. "Give glory to God," they said. "We know this man is a sinner."
25 He replied, "Whether he is a sinner or not, I don't know. One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!"
Sermon Proposition
In light of the fact that many believers lose their sight because they are infected by environmental conditions and none of us want to lose our sight based on where we hang out or who we hang out with, allow me some pen time to suggest three ideas relative to the subject, “A Chapter 9 Appointment.” In advance, here they are:
1. The mud will stay until you do what He says;
2. What price will you pay to stay blind; and
3. Obeying when you can’t see.
